Wave Race is a 2D arcade game about guiding a small arrow through dangerous geometric courses. The arrow moves in a diagonal line, so your main job is to control its height and find a safe path.

The game has three modes that change the way you approach each run. The hardest parts combine several hazards close together. The challenge is not raw speed. It is making small decisions early enough to keep the arrow on a clean line.

How to Play Wave Race

Choose Your Run Before You Move

Classic is a good place to learn the movement. Each level has a clear route and a finish point. The layouts become tighter as you move forward.
Endless changes the goal. There is no fixed finish line to chase. You keep moving and try to extend your distance.
Race makes timing feel different. You are not only watching the obstacles. You also need to keep your arrow moving smoothly while competing with other arrows.

Make Your Move

Hold the input to make the arrow rise. Release it to let the arrow move down. The longer you hold, the more the arrow changes its height.

Do not stare only at the arrow. Look at the next opening first. Find the space where the arrow needs to pass, then adjust your movement before reaching it.

A short hold works well for small corrections. A longer hold is useful when the next opening sits much higher. Release early if the arrow is already above the safe line.
