Tap Road 2 is an exciting 3D arcade racing game and the sequel to the hit title Tap Road. Your task is to manage a bright ball, survive on an unending neon course, dodge dangerous obstacles, collect gems, and obtain the highest possible score.
Before you start a run, you can select your chosen game style, such as Standard mode, or test yourself in the new test mode, with a variety of unique difficulty levels. You control a light ball moving on an unending neon track loaded with dangerous obstacles. The track is always changing and it demands split-second decisions. The goal is to survive as long as you can, while keeping control of the ball and avoiding any obstacles in your route.
The sequel expands on the original Tap Road with more sorts of obstacles, harder challenges and a totally new game mode. The previous game was about testing your movement and reflexes, but Tap Road 2 adds layers of challenge that require good observation, memory and strategic thinking.
As you progress, the speed progressively increases and the obstacles get more complicated. The longer you live, the harder the game is. Every new personal best is a big accomplishment.
Tap Road 2 features a host of interesting improvements that make the sequel more tough and rewarding than the original game.
New Challenges
The game adds 4 further types of obstacles which increase the challenges on the neon course. These barriers make the player work on his timing and reaction speed by adding novel movement patterns and unexpected circumstances.
Players have to understand the behaviour, estimate where they will be, and plan their moves carefully if they want to keep their run going, rather than just quick reflexes to dodge obstacles.
Challenge Mode
The largest update in Tap Road 2 is the new Challenge mode that has 6 unique tasks. Each challenge changes the rules of the game and gives a whole different test of ability.
Gravity Shift
Gravity Shift changes the way gravity works on your sphere. Players must hold on to lift and control the ball as they respond to changing movement patterns. This difficulty requires good control, good timing, because typical movement tactics may no longer be effective.
Double Lane
Double Lane raises the challenge by forcing players to manage two spheres at the same time. You have to watch both lanes, dodge hazards and properly synchronise your moves. This mode evaluates the ability to focus and multitask.
Blackout
Obstacles are tougher to see, and players will have to anticipate danger and respond swiftly.
Run Orbit
The perspective in Orbit Run is flipped and rotated. The problem is one of observation and precision, as the players must immediately respond to the position of the track.
Ghost Trail
Ghost Trail has a special memory difficulty; your sphere can vanish. Players have to recall movement patterns and depend on their past experience to continue to have success.
Ultimate
Ultimate is the hardest difficulty in Tap Road 2 and has all the difficulties before. Gravity shifts, limited vision, many spheres, rotating environments and memory based mechanics are all mixed in one tough challenge. In this mode, only those players with quick reflexes, strong concentration, keen observation and good control may score high.
