Hexbound is a first person shooter where you are a powerful hero moving throughout dangerous places. Beware of the attackers; they can come from all sides and hit you from behind without warning.
Your ultimate goal is to endure the trip and locate a safe way out. Explore your surroundings and observe them. Look into different regions. You may find valuable resources, hidden mysteries, weaponry or other benefits to help you survive future encounters.
Enemies can spawn at any time, so be on your guard when exploring. Robots, flying devils, monsters and other hazardous entities can strike from all directions. You need to learn the behavior of your enemies, pick the proper weapons and cast the right spells at the right time. Keep moving. If you stay still for too long, adversaries will be able to flank you or pounce on you in a flurry.
Enemies can appear out of nowhere and running too far away can put you at a disadvantage. Take your time, and always think of possible ways out.
Hexbound has a variety of foes, from monsters to demons, robots, fliers and mighty bosses.
Ground Enemies
Ground-based foes are usually easy to spot, but when a few of them attack at the same time, they can still be dangerous. Don't let a lot of enemies encircle you. Keep moving and create space when you can.
Aerial Enemies
Flying adversaries are particularly annoying since they may attack from odd angles. Look around and not just what is in front of you. Make sure to see what's coming and what's behind your character so you won't be caught off-guard.
Groups of Enemies
If you have more than one opponent, try not to get yourself into a corner or a tight spot.
Try to get yourself in a spot where you have more room to maneuver. If you have to fight in an open location, it can be considerably easier to dodge and reposition.
Bosses
One of the more difficult aspects of Hexbound are boss fights. Watch how the boss attacks before you go all out. Be conscious of its weak points and do not do needless harm.
In the fight against the boss:
Sometimes it is better to be patient rather than just attacking as fast as possible.
