City Hero is a 3D action game where you play as a hero with special abilities. The city is open for you to explore. Run through the streets, climb buildings, swing with the rope, or take a vehicle and drive around.

Move Around the City

Getting around is a big part of City Hero. The map has streets, buildings, rooftops, and other areas to check out.

Criminals appear during missions. You can get into close fights or use guns when you need to stay farther away.

Swing between buildings

The rope is one of the main ways to move around. Aim at a building and use it to swing across. Release at the right moment if you want to land on a rooftop or continue toward another building.

It can save time when the destination is on the other side of the street. You can also use it when you need to get away from a group of enemies.

Use vehicles for longer trips

The city has different vehicles that can be used to travel around. They are useful when a mission sends you to another part of the map.

Drive until you are close to the area you need. Then get out and continue on foot if the streets become difficult to follow. For rooftops and narrow areas, the rope is usually more useful than the vehicle.
