Ball Breaker is an arcade shooter where you control a cannon at the bottom of the screen. The cannon fires constantly and you manoeuvre it left and right to destroy numbered balls as they plummet down towards you.
Your cannon will fire automatically during the game; move it left and right to aim, and dodge approaching balls and their debris. It takes more than one hit to destroy each numbered ball. The lower numbered balls quickly vanish, while the higher numbered ones take a sustained fire to explode.
Big balls are particularly deadly, because when destroyed they like to break into two or three smaller balls, filling the screen with more stuff to avoid. The game is over as soon as a single ball (or debris) touches your cannon.
To complete each level, you must destroy all the balls before they hit your cannon. Survive harder and harder waves of attacks to get deeper in the game.
Keep your cannon moving at all times if you can. If you stay in one spot, you’re more likely to get hit by balls that fall or fragments that bounce.' Staying in constant motion gives you more chances of avoiding sudden perils.
Ignore the distant attackers and focus on the nearer threats. In general, balls near to your cannon should be given the most importance as they give you less time to react.
After you smash enormous balls, be extra careful. They often distribute their pieces in several directions and create unanticipated dangers that surprise many players. Before you kill these bigger foes, make sure you have an escape route planned.
Collect rewards whenever you can do so safely, but don't put extra coins above survival. It’s far better to miss a couple of awards than to fail your entire run.
Upgrade your cannon regularly between levels. When you increase your firepower, you may kill adversaries faster, making the final stages a lot easier to handle.
Finally, be patient amid tough waves. Panic is bad positioning, and calm, controlled movement is your best chance of survival even on the busiest stages.
