How To Play Racing Pop
Your car automatically runs on the track, so you have to judge when to speed up and slow down very carefully. To speed up, just hold the control button down. The car will accelerate swiftly so you can really take it out on long stretches of straight road.
If you reach a turn, let go of the button and slow down. Slowing down before entering a tight bend helps keep the car stable and gives it better traction on the road.
After you have made the turn successfully, hit and hold the button again to speed up to top speed.
Timing is everything: hit the gas too soon and the car will go wide in the bend; hit the brake too much and you lose valuable seconds. Your objective will be to finish a specified number of laps in the fastest time possible, race after race. Race and the time you finish dictates your performance. Win races to earn cash to unlock new vehicles.
Tips to play Racing Pop
One of the best methods to get better is to learn every track by heart. Each track has its own sequence of straights and bends, so knowing where to accelerate and where to brake will greatly help your lap timings.
Don't keep the throttle down for the whole race. Maximum speed is fine on straight roads, but going into tight turns too quickly is a common cause of errors that take considerably longer to correct than just slowing down a bit beforehand.
Ease off the accelerator right before you enter a curve, rather than reacting after you have entered the curve. If you prepare your car early, you’ll have a smoother racing line and you’ll be able to pick up speed quicker out of the corner.
The aim is to keep the momentum going, not to go full steam ahead and then hit the brakes. You can drive smoothly and often be faster overall than you can by accelerating hard and then braking hard.
