Two Sides of the Chase
One side chases. The other side escapes.
As a police driver, you need to close the distance without losing control. As an escape driver, you need to use the environment and your driving skills to create space. Crashes can change the situation quickly.
When playing as the fleeing driver, avoid driving directly into narrow areas with no room to turn. Leave yourself another path whenever possible.
Start the Pursuit
Begin by pressing Start and selecting a map. Choose your preferred mode and then pick a vehicle.
Once the chase begins, watch the road carefully. Busy areas can leave little space for turning. Desert routes offer more room, but sudden terrain changes can still cause problems.
Tips: Use acceleration on open roads. Reduce speed before tight sections. Use the handbrake for sharp turns. If your car flips, use recovery controls. Switch cars to try different driving styles. Press B during difficult collisions or tight situations. The slower action gives you extra time to react.
To choose another map, pause the game and return to the menu. Select a new environment and vehicle before starting again.
