Downtown Parkour Drive is a fast-paced stunt driving game where you have to drive a sports automobile thru a number of obstacle courses. The game takes set in a sprawling city-like training grounds designed for extreme driving tasks.
You will drive a powerful sports automobile through a large city training zone with ramps, platforms, restricted paths and severe obstacles to overcome. You’ve need to steer carefully, time your moves perfectly and cross every checkpoint to make it safely to the finish line – and that’s just for the first level!
Your goal is to get through all the checkpoints and reach the finish line on each level. When you are jumping, do not make unnecessary steering motions. Try to stay in line with the landing platform, and be ready to change course immediately after landing safely.
When on narrow platforms, apply modest steering inputs and go slowly.
Control Your Speed
One of the biggest mistakes novices make is to think that faster is better. Some jumps you need speed, but if you get too much, it can make the car harder to manage.
Slow down before technical areas, and only speed up when you have enough room to safely develop momentum.
Adjust Your Jumps
Approach is important for successful jumps. Try to place the automobile as close to the middle of the desired landing area as possible before launching off a ramp. Don’t make a quick turn right before a leap. A straight, level approach provides you a considerably better chance of landing safely.
Brake Before Sharp Turns
If you brake too late you could go wide on a corner or run off the track. Slow down a bit before you reach the tricky turns, not when you’re already in the middle of them. Once you have completed the turn, accelerate again when the road is clear.
Make Small Steering Movements
Accuracy is more crucial than spectacular steering. If you’re on a tight platform, make modest modifications to maintain your car centered. Pressing and holding A, D, or the arrow keys might lead to unwanted movement and make it harder to maintain control.
See the Checkpoints
But if you skip key checkpoints along the way, just crossing the finish line is not enough. Keep an eye on your path and ensure your vehicle goes thru all the necessary checkpoints.
If you mistakenly skip one, you may have to go back or restart the level.
Reset As Required
No use trying to extricate yourself from an impossible position. If your car falls, gets stuck, or becomes hard to handle, hit the Reset option and try again. If you succeed the first time, you learn nothing about the problem, but if you fail, you learn vital information about the barrier you were unable to cross and you can use that information to change your strategy on the following run.
