Clash Royale is a collectible strategy card game where eight cards are used for one-on-one fights. Challenge your friends to a fight to see who can destroy the most of their towers before time runs out.
There are two lanes on the battlefield, and on each side, there are three towers: two Princess Towers and one King Tower. You have to make choices based on the cards you have; each person picks eight cards from their own collection to make a deck.
There should be at least one building, offensive units, defense units, and spells in a balanced deck. Plan to try different combos because some cards work best when they are put together.
Putting cards on your side of the field is legal everywhere. Soldiers move toward the enemy building that is closest to them, and spells can be direct hit targets. You can protect your own tower by using buildings to push enemy troops away from it, or you can send units that do damage to attack the enemy.
Elixir keeps coming back on its own during the match, up to a maximum of ten. Elixir is used up when you play a card, so be careful when you use it. Spending too much at once can leave your tower open to attack, and hanging on to it for too long wastes opportunities.
If you don't place your cards correctly, you could lose your tower or stop an enemy attack.
Destroy your opponent's tower. If you destroy the Princess Tower first, it will be easier and give you more power to destroy the King's Tower, giving you an instant victory.
People who destroy the most towers win if time runs out. If both players have the same number of towers, the game goes into overtime, and the winner is the player whose tower was destroyed first.
Manage Elixir Carefully
If you're not sure, don't drop too many cards at once. You can often make better deals and stronger counterattacks if you wait and watch your opponent. Don't let your drink stay full for too long, but don't spend too much either.
Learn Card Counters
Every card has a counter. Knowing which cards stop others efficiently saves elixir and prevents tower damage
Defend First, Then Counterattack
Let your towers help you defend, and then use extra cards to help your troops that are still alive to turn defense into attack.
Track Your Opponent’s Cards
Watch out for the cards your opponent has already played. If you know how their cards are rotated, you can guess what they'll do next and attack when their counters aren't in turn.
