Mega City Racing is a racing game with many different modes and options. You can race freely or challenge a friend to enjoy the streets.
How to play Mega City Racing
The game offers three diverse game modes:
- Racing: Compete in classic races to prove you are the fastest in the city. Compete against AI or another player in a race to the finish line. Use your car's speed, handling, and nitrous boost to gain the advantage.
- Challenge: Test your skills with unique, high-stakes objectives. Complete difficult missions, such as precision driving, time trials, or obstacle courses. Each challenge gets progressively harder, testing your driving skills.
- Free Drive: Roam the city streets at your own pace. This is your chance to hone your skills, test out customizations, or simply enjoy the ride.
Tips to play Mega City Racing
- Master the Controls: To make good use of sharp turns, practice driving and stopping. You can control your drift around tight turns by pressing the space bar or right shift and holding down the handbrake.
- Use Nitrous Strategically: You should only use your NOS boost (F or K) on long straightaways or to pass other cars.
- Upgrade Your Vehicle: Invest in upgrades to improve Acceleration, Max Speed, and Handling. Improve the aerodynamics of your car to make it run better and with less wind resistance.
- Know the Terrain: Familiarize yourself with the city layout to anticipate turns, shortcuts, and obstacles. In Challenge Mode, plan your approach to difficult tasks by studying the course beforehand.
- Take control of two-player mode: In two-player mode, you have to trick your opponent by taking better routes and timing your boosts just right. The split-screen view lets you keep an eye on where your enemy is and what they are doing.
- Experiment in Free Drive: Use Free Drive Mode to test out new cars, practice drifting, or scout for shortcuts that can give you an edge in races.
